Risk Disclosure
Last updated: October 17, 2026
1. Purpose of this disclosure
This Risk Disclosure explains the risks specific to using Replica Bridge to host MetaTrader terminals and copy trades between them. It supplements, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. It does not describe every risk of trading, and it is not investment, financial, tax, or legal advice.
2. Trading involves risk of loss
Trading foreign exchange, CFDs, futures, and other leveraged instruments carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. Prices can move quickly and unpredictably. You may lose part or all of your invested capital, and losses can happen faster than you can react to them.
Past performance of any account, strategy, or configuration, including one you are copying from, is not a reliable indicator of future results. You should only trade, or copy trades, with money you can afford to lose.
3. Risks specific to copy trading
Copying trades between terminals introduces risks beyond ordinary trading, including:
- Amplified exposure: copying can multiply your market exposure across several receiver accounts at once, so a single losing trade on the sender side can produce losses on every connected receiver simultaneously.
- Timing and execution differences: the price, spread, or fill on the receiver terminal may differ from the sender terminal due to network latency, hosting, broker liquidity, or market volatility at the moment of the copy.
- Partial or missed copies: a trade may fail to copy, copy only in part, or copy late if a terminal disconnects, a broker rejects the order, or the underlying connection is interrupted. The Service does not guarantee that copying is instantaneous, complete, or identical.
- Broker rejections and broker actions: your broker may reject, requote, or partially fill orders, impose margin calls or stop-outs, restrict your account, or change symbol specifications. These are outside our control.
- Slippage: the executed price may differ from the intended price, especially in fast markets.
- Configuration risk: position sizing, symbol mapping, filters, and risk settings are set by you; a misconfigured rule (for example an incorrect lot multiplier or an unmapped symbol) can produce trades you did not intend.
- Correlated account risk: if you copy the same sender to multiple receivers, all of those accounts move together, which removes the diversification benefit of running independent strategies.
- Reverse copy and inversion: inverting a trade's direction changes its risk profile entirely; misunderstanding an inverted configuration can turn an intended hedge into additional directional exposure.
- Automation is not oversight: automation reduces manual effort but does not remove the need to monitor your accounts.
4. Replica Bridge is not a broker, custodian, or advisor
Replica Bridge is a hosting, connectivity, and automation tool. It relays and executes copy instructions between MetaTrader terminals that you connect to it, based on rules you configure. It does not select instruments, decide when to enter or exit a position, or exercise any discretion over your trading.
We are not a broker, dealer, exchange, custodian, or financial advisor, and are not registered as such with any regulator. We never hold, custody, or have direct access to your trading funds. Your accounts remain with your own broker(s) at all times, entirely outside our control. We do not vet, endorse, or take responsibility for the conduct, solvency, or execution quality of any broker you connect.
5. Risk controls are configurable, not guarantees
The Service offers risk management features, such as lot limits, equity protection thresholds, maximum open position limits, trading hour restrictions, symbol filters, and emergency close-all, that you may configure. These are tools to help you express your intended risk limits; they depend on correct configuration, a live connection to your terminals, and timely execution by your broker. They are not a guarantee that losses will be prevented, capped, or limited to any particular amount, and they may not trigger as expected during fast markets, disconnections, or broker-side outages.
6. Your responsibility
Before connecting a live account or enabling a copy relationship, you should:
- Understand the strategy, instruments, and risk level of any sender terminal before copying it.
- Review and test your configuration, including lot sizing, filters, and risk limits, before relying on it with live funds.
- Confirm the arrangement complies with your broker's terms of service and any rules that apply to you.
- Confirm that using the Service is permitted on any proprietary trading firm ("prop firm") evaluation or funded account you connect. Copy trading, automated execution, or trading from a hosted/shared environment may be prohibited or may breach prop-firm rules, and may lead to your account being breached, closed, or funds forfeited. We do not verify, monitor, or take responsibility for prop-firm compliance.
- Monitor your accounts; automation reduces manual effort but does not remove the need for oversight.
7. No liability for trading outcomes
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses of any kind, including losses caused or amplified by copy trading, execution delays, missed or partial copies, slippage, broker actions, prop-firm breaches, or misconfiguration. This mirrors, and does not limit, the liability terms set out in Section 14 of our Terms of Service.
